  2. Hint: Would you like to scan pages? Take a flashdrive to the library to scan text pages directly at no cost without having to pint.

Do you have a specific interest in veterinary pharmacy? Want to stay connected? Do you really love this rotation? (We know, its pretty awesome!) Do your pharmacy friends want to learn more about veterinary pharmacy? There are a couple of options for pharmacy students: 

Society of Veterinary Hospital Pharmacists is comprised of pharmacists practicing solely in the veterinary field with the mission of "furtherance of interests and promotion of education for veterinary hospital pharmacy." SVHP meets annually where members share ideas, experiences, research, and good times. As a pharmacy student, SVHP is a great way to make connections and learn more about veterinary pharmacy from the individuals that are responsible for furthering the practice of veterinary pharmacy. A division of the American College of Apothecaries, the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists was established for independent pharmacists providing care to animals. ACVP serves as a support for these individuals and allows then to provide their assistance to veterinarians. ACVP is a valuable asset for compounding veterinary pharmacists as well. Future veterinary pharmacists will find ACVP a great way to get involved and learn more about veterinary pharmacy. To join, submit this application to Gigi Davidson or current residents.
